Our Team

Kayla Wolfenden

Training and Development Manager

Kayla is the Training and Development Manager, the newest team member starting in 2023.

As the Training and Development Manager Kayla’s primary focus is running the Skills for Industry Program.  This is a 3 week course which provides attendees the flexibility to attend in person or online.   With usually 15 – 25 students attending it keeps Kayla very busy.

Kayla is responsible for facilitating and managing the course content.  The course covers a variety of topics such as cover letter writing, how to write your CV and interview coaching.  It also gives attendees exposure to what they can expect when working in a call centre environment.

So what is Kayla’s back ground… Once Kayla had completed her Sports and Recreational degree majoring in exercise diet and nutrition she took on a role as Sports coordinator for a girl’s school.  This is where Kayla decided it was teaching she wanted to get into.  Off back to University she then completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching and has never looked back.

This country gal from Drury south Auckland loves getting out on the water to do a little bit of fishing.  Whilst this is her favorite hobby unfortunately it happens the least.  Kayla also enjoys painting and drawing and is a massive movie buff.

What does Kayla love about Callcentre People…?  She loves meeting so many different people and helping them along their unique journey. Seeing the growth in people’s confidence is really rewarding.  Kayla is loving working in Auckland city, and of course enjoys working with the team at Callcentre People.
